An excellent appearance, a nice line organized, slim, with a subwoofer for an aggressive, a power of 200 W. Suitable for me in a nice big room with a nice large plasma TV or even an LCD. Excellent home-theater system with 5.1 lg wireless rear speakers (without cables belonging to the current).
This system LG is a good compromise between cost and performance.
I saw it on sale about one year ago and saw that I needed a wireless home-theater system (due to the dislocation of my living room) I pointed this after hearing him on.

Philips HES2800 is a very compact home theater system that adapts to any environment. It consists of the main unit which houses the two discs two speakers and a subwoofer.
The system is very cumbersome as the main unit is 202 x 51.5 x 199 mm, the speakers 100 x 235 x 89 mm and subwoofer 170 x 270 x 340 mm. It ’s a 2 +1 home theater but is a sophisticated audio technology to produce surround sound from just a two-speaker system. The manual says they are implemented highly advanced spatial algorithms faithfully reproduce the sound characteristics of an ideal listening environment to 5.1.
Both the video playback that the audio formats are guaranteed for many.

The audio quality is excellent both in DVD playback, and MP3 but even if just listen to the radio.
And the video output is very good.
I had no difficulty playing DivX.
The unit has some problems if you try to watch a DVD with a few lines: a rented movie in video store crashed constantly, even if its surface was not excessively damaged. The DVD suffers HES2800 then ruined though not seriously. He has never exhibited this problem with my DVD kept in perfect condition.
The main drawback of this system is that when playing MP3s, when switching from one song to another hearing a “puff” into the coffers. This noise is heard even in DVD playback when the film moves from scene to scene. This noise is not excessive but certainly is annoying.
Overall I’m still satisfied with the product because I can play several different formats (audio and video) and I free up space in the house making out the old DVD and the old stereo.
